My name is Lucy Franks, and I am a 20-something year old freelance software and web developer working in and around Bristol and the rest of the South and South West of England. In 2003 I graduated from Cardiff University with a First Class Honours degree in Computer Science.

The plan is to blog about pretty much any subject where I :

1. Feel well enough informed for my comments to mean anything, and;
2. Am 99% confident that I have come up with something worth reading

And while the list below should not be considered definitive, this probably means that, in no particular order, you can expect to read about the following:

• Computer hardware and software, as well as other technology and gadgetry in general
• Hill walking, camping and anything else that unleashes my inner she-Rambo
• Any (un)popular culture or media fluff that satisfies my two conditions above. That probably means sci-fi and fantasy drivel, so I’ll try to restrain myself as much as possible.
